Description

These ruins of a city dating back to the Iron Age (8C-4C BC) are located on a mound at a height of 337m. Protected by three rings of walls, the mound originally extended for 250m in length and 150m in width and was home to 150 huts, two of which have been rebuilt. The objects discovered during excavations are exhibited at the Museu da Cultura Castreja, which is run by the Martins Sarmento archaeological museum in Guimarães.
