Description
From the top of the Basílica de Begoña you can enjoy a pleasant view of the city. However, for the inhabitants of Bilbao, the place is primarily a sanctuary, home to a venerated statue of Our Lady of Begoña, the patron saint of Vizcaya. The statue of the saint is carefully preserved in a silver camarín above the high altar.
