Description

The museum is located in the Maison Dagourette, a fine late-16C townhouse. Throughout 20 rooms spread over three floors, find out about the Basque society of today, thanks to objects and rites of yesteryear with rich ethnographic collections devoted to Basque culture and lifestyles, including agropastoralism, habitat, crafts, games, sports (with a remarkable collection of pelotas), religion etc. Far from being stuck in the past, the museum hosts plenty of conferences, projections, concerts etc.
