Description
In a superb postmodern building created in 1998 by Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer, temporary exhibitions turn the spotlight on works by local artists such as the portraitist and landscape painter Carl August Liner (1871-1946) and his son Carl Walter Liner (1914-1997), a precursor of Abstract painting. The museum also presents paintings by Hans Arp; Kirchner and Tàpies sometimes round off the exhibition.
