Description
The façade of the San José Convent is an interesting example of local Baroque art. This highly original building is made up of a full arch resting on decors based on figures supporting a cornice decorated with intricate images of plants and grotesque masks. Inside, there is a convent museum housing an interesting collection of antique paintings.
