One MICHELIN Star : High quality cooking, worth a stop!
Using top quality ingredients, dishes with distinct flavours are carefully prepared to a consistently high standard.
Simply put, Blue Duck Tavern will have you at hello. Set within the Park Hyatt hotel, this upscale American tavern boasts a sleek, urbane and dreamily sprawling interior, with its 25-foot entry doors, floor-to-ceiling windows, walnut wood seating and highly coveted glass-enclosed booths. (And if that doesn’t have you swooning, the dessert station, piled high with tempting treats, certainly will.) Whether seated in the plush dining room or expansive lounge—which features a totally separate cheese- and charcuterie-focused menu—the gorgeous space and its well-to-do crowd are the epitome of casual sophistication. Much like the space, the product-driven menu has an all-American sensibility. At the center of the massive open kitchen sits a wood-burning oven, a behemoth centerpiece that turns out everything from whole fish and tea-smoked duck breast to the signature roasted bone marrow. Expect some big dishes like foie gras crème brûlée or braised beef rib and Brussels sprouts in a Bourbon-ginger glaze. Portions are generous; split the oven-roasted veal rack to avoid being overstuffed. Staying at the hotel? You are a lucky duck indeed, as room service is handled by the restaurant.
