It turns out that you can be all things to all people, at least at Cava Mezze. This place manages to lure the post-work crowd who come to down drinks and talk shop. Yet this casual Greek restaurant with palatable prices is also popular among families with kids in tow. There is a long list of shareable plates, plus seafood, meat and pasta. Additionally, quality ingredients sourced from area farms enhance simple preparations. While most of these honor the Greek standards (for instance, spanakopita is revved up by thick, creamy yogurt; and tender, buttery lamb chops are accompanied by fries), the kitchen also challenges convention. If that's not enough, it even delivers a few Med-influenced riffs-perhaps lamb sliders and orzo mac n cheese?
