Delicious, uncomplicated food is the name of the game here at this three-name and tri-level restaurant with a popular rooftop. Inside, the décor echoes the kitchen’s “keep it simple” mantra, with little more to look at than unadorned white tiles and a pile of gently worn cookbooks in the corner. There are just over two-dozen selections on this daily changing menu, where vegetables make a big impression. Expect dishes to come as promised: green tomatoes are indeed that, diced perfectly then ramped up slightly with a smoky minced-bacon vinaigrette. Fried clams are set atop a house-made tartar sauce and smack of a summer day at the beach, while the "new bay" chicken thigh punches up the classic Old Bay seasoning with curry for a bit more kick.
