Chef Harold Moore left a hole in the local dining scene when he closed his beloved Commerce, but devoted fans will thrill to his latest venture. The cooking here is still on point, and if that’s not enough of a draw, this cozy, open-all-day bistro offers so much more than your basic steak frites. In fact, its diverse menu is filled with the classics (like delicious fricassée de champignons), market-driven vegetables and fresh pastas. Of course, every meal kicks off with a generous plate of garnishes for their excellent house baguette: think house-made butter, savory country pâté, as well as a crowd-pleasing parmesan-and-black truffle spread. The whole experience here is utterly charming-from the friendly service to the vintage, flea market-inspired space.
