On the site of the original Sandeman Port and Sherry Cellars, The Sign of The Don offers European bistro cuisine and an accessible list of fine wines. Formerly of La Pont de La Tour, chef James Walker and Giuseppe de Wilde head the team at this rustic hideaway, presenting a Spanish and Portuguese-influenced menu, alongside many wines available by the glass. The décor emphasises The Sign of The Don's Iberian heritage, with specially commissioned pieces including a cork bar, reclaimed port-barrel banquettes, and a 3-metre corkscrew carved from metal.
