Its sleepy location may be unusual, but with a creekside view and friendly service, Yeti makes for a pleasant getaway from the wine country grind. Inside the sunken dining room, soft folk music, Tibetan artwork and a blisteringly hot tandoor set an authentic scene. Though this food may hail from the Himalayan frontier, most dishes are from both India's North (think grilled meats and biryanis) as well as her Southern coastal regions (fish curries and coconut sauces). Try the lamb chops coated with garam masala and served over a bed of charred onion and bell pepper. Vegetable momos (steamed dumplings stuffed with cabbage, carrots, beans and green onion) served with spicy sambal, cilantro and sweet tamarind dipping sauces are a party in your mouth.
