Despite not being in the centre of town or on any of the main tourist routes, it is well worth heading to this peaceful, welcoming and contemporary-style restaurant. Here, Angélica Salvador, the young chef of Brazilian origin, interprets her personal vision of traditional Portuguese and international cooking through dishes that are elaborate and very well presented. Her aim is to create dishes that are different, personal and showcase innovative detail, extracting maximum benefit from the superb fish delivered to the nearby auctions in Matosinhos and Aveiro, as well as from the region’s outstanding meats.
