A longstanding local eatery which Mário Moreira dos Santos, known to everyone as Mário Luso, opened here in 1942. This centrally located, family-run restaurant has a spacious entrance plus two attractive dining rooms decorated in rustic-regional style. A renowned name in the area thanks to its high-quality traditional Portuguese cuisine, which continues to showcase the virtues of Mirandesa beef from the northeast of Portugal and which has been awarded protected DOC status. Dishes worth trying here include the Mirandesa veal, the Mirandesa chops, and the rice with wild sea bass.
