This romantic restaurant holds a nostalgic sort of charm, as though it’s been a fixture on the corner for a hundred years. It hasn’t, of course, but its design incorporating the likes of a pressed-tin ceiling, silver bowls filled with bright citrus, whitewashed exposed brick walls and tufted leather banquettes lend it an old-school sort of sophistication. Executive Chef Bryan Calvert pulls most of the herbs, that are featured on plates set right before you, from the rooftop garden. Dishes wander from sautéed Carolina shrimp laid over creamy "polenta" to crispy honey-glazed pork belly-all of them divine. Carnivores will relish their popular burger night, which the restaurant presents every Monday, with an expanded burger menu and happy hour prices all night.
