Useful information

Don’t expect the standard tofu substitutions at Sol Sips. That’s because this vegan restaurant doesn't subscribe to the replacement theory. Instead, they’re creating thoughtful and delicious meals with unexpected ingredients. There are juices, smoothies and coffee drinks, naturally (sips is in the name, after all), but go for the jackfruit panini smothered with tamarind and agave sauce to really sample the impressive flavors hailing from this kitchen. Stuffed plantains with tender beans, peppers, onions, sunflower seeds and mozzarella make a satisfying meal, or try the lobster mac made from chickpea macaroni and hearts of palm. The laidback vibe extends to the kitchen team, so plan ahead as that solstice juice is not going to be blended in a snap. - MICHELIN guide inspectors
