The name says it all here, as this was once a private residence. It shares a farm charm, from walls hung with repurposed wood shutters to shelves stacked with Americana bric-à-brac. Families flock here, so if the noise is too much, head outdoors to the lovely patio. The menu is loaded with American dishes that have an Italian bent. There are plenty of winners, like polenta crowned with chicken scarpariello, which in turn is punched up with spicy pickled red and green cherry peppers and crispy Italian sausage. Naturally, pizzas are ever-popular, as are those delicious eggplant meatballs.Just a few bites of the butterscotch pudding are bound to satisfy your sweet tooth. Besides, you can walk it off at the nearby Silver Lake Preserve.
