This traditional inn in the lovely Spalter Hügelland is run by the fourth generation of the same family. They offer a mix of Frankonian and Austrian fare, traditionally cooked, but with flashes of modern creativity, and always with top-notch produce. Dishes such as "Krustenschäuferle" (crispy pork shoulder) are popular with regulars. Tip: the small display case contains delicacies to take away.
