Situated in a small village in the Bassa Veronese area, this restaurant with a welcoming decor of exposed brick and wooden beams serves unexpectedly creative cuisine which is often surprisingly sophisticated and always of the highest quality. The chef here has two particular passions: cooking on the spit and using aromatic herbs, both of which he uses in different dishes. The same owners run a shop adjoining the restaurant, selling specialities such as cured hams and cheeses (there’s an extraordinary selection of the latter, which can also be ordered in the restaurant), all of which can be sampled at your table.
