With stunning tarrazo floors, a two-story glass wine wall gleaming from the second floor, and a view of the Vessel in the heart of Hudson Yards, this gorgeous restaurant has drawn in a well-moneyed clientele with ease. But beyond just looks, there is real substance here, thanks to a talented kitchen and a friendly, confident cadre of servers.
The menu is at once familiar and comfortable, offering a broad range of hearty dishes with the occasional twist. Potato agnolotti are set in a rich béchamel sauce tossed with morels, while a ragout of cannellini beans is the bed to a wildly tender Kurobuta pork jowl. Roasted quail, braised lamb shoulder, coconut cream pie—you’ve seen these dishes before and you will be happy to see them again in such careful hands.- MICHELIN guide inspectors
