Chef-patron Hugo Brégeon and his wife Aurore, who is in charge of the restaurant floor, have set up shop in a small location, with a terrace that commands an uninterrupted panoramic view of the old town and the Dordogne River with its gabarres (traditional riverboats). The tasty, well-crafted food does the view justice: dynamic neo-bistro cuisine that brilliantly revisits some of the French classics – it is unbeatable value, and there is a nice choice of wines by the glass.
