Portugal’s only National Park has a variety of rare animal and plant life, along with far-reaching views of the mountains. The vast green areas invite guests to know the park either by taking a hiking trip, or by using one of the Peneda’s bicycles. Canoeing, canyoning and canopy walk also among the available activity options, on one of the Park’s river areas. There is a gift and souvenir shop on the premises as well as a children’s playground. Porto International Airport is a 2-hour drive from the property and a shuttle service is available, at an extra fee.
