The Michelin Guide's review
An original take on the history of playing cards, be they didactic, playful or satirical. Among the oldest (c. 1540) are an illuminated Tarot card (15C) attributed to the Ferrara School (Italy) and playing cards from Lyon (15C), the leading site of manufacture under the Ancien Régime. A gallery leads to the old Conti pavilion housing the town's history museum. An animated model of the château d'Issy gives an insight into the site's beauty during the Conti period.
