Cirencester Old town
Michelin Guide
City and village
The Michelin Guide's review
Made up of a maze of narrow streets, Cirencester's old town is surrounded by two extensive areas of greenery: the grounds of the abbey, which was totally destroyed during the Dissolution, whose gardens lead to the pretty River Churn, and Cirencester Park, a fine French garden which includes Broad Avenue, extending for almost 8km through the surrounding countryside.
