Cut in 1664, this delightful canal stretches south of Rembrandtplein and Thorbeckeplein, cutting across the canal belt. It commands one of the finest views of Amsterdam's canals. From the bridge level with Kerkstraat, a row of a further seven bridges across the canal can be seen.
