The Michelin Guide's review
Just a couple of blocks from the beach on Sullivan's Island, this eclectic restaurant lures locals and visitors alike with its rustic nod to nautical design and its immensely likable menu. Sure, there are Southern and Lowcountry references, but this menu also draws heavily on Italian, French and Spanish influences. Start with a wood-fired pizza like the Moultrie, with pepperoni and shitake mushrooms, skillfully baked with a crispy crust. Pasta is a perfect follow-up, especially their ricotta gnocchi. It's made in house and topped with a hearty and flavorful ragu tucked with loads of shredded short rib. It doesn't end there. Order the spiced apple cake with dark rum caramel sauce and a scoop of their honey and goat cheese gelato for a fairytale ending.
