This is the worst kind of a restaurant we have ever experienced. From the greeting at the door to paying the bill at the end and walking out of the restaurant, we have experienced the worst! We were checking out the menu at the door and was contemplating if we should try this restaurant as it was our last night in Venice and we would like to make it a memorable one. It was indeed "memorable"! To begin with, the captain on duty, known as 'Vincento', came to greet us at the door with sarcasm. Instead of inviting us into the restaurant, he said with sarcasm, "Is the music here very nice?". We went in to try anyway since we thought that the food must be good as it is a Michelin awarded restaurant. He looked surprised when we asked for a table for two. We were brought to the end of the restaurant in a hidden corner. Throughout our meal, no one serve us our drinks, we had to serve ourselves. Moreover, the culinary skills were mediocre, not expected of a Michelin standard. The worst was yet to come. At the end of the meal when I made the payment, the captain came back with my American Express card and said sarcastically, again, "Your card cant be used. Well, it's ok, you can stay here and wash the dishes." That is the most insulting statement you could ever say, let alone we are the guests! I knew I can't possibly have reached my spending limit so I called the bank while walking back to the hotel to get cash. The bank had confirmed that my card was perfectly fine. During the time that I was away, the captain, together with his colleague (in white suit), known as 'Adriano', and a whole gang of waiters tried to make fun of my friend who stayed at the restaurant to wait for me. My friend had expressed her discomfort and uneasiness but they went on nonetheless. When I came back and realized that it was their network that was down and not the problem of my credit card, I was very angry. However, the captain did not even apologize and only took down my credit card information manually. Both my friend and I felt very insulted by this incident. It is the worst kind of dining experience we had in the whole world!!! Don't ever step into this restaurant!!!
