- Take the N train to the last stop to track down this feel-good Italian mainstay. Throngs of serious foodies flood this local favorite nightly; yet no matter how busy they get, Abruzzi native Tina Sacramone and her son, Rocco, always find time to pour on the hospitality. In the back, a brick oven churns out a host of savory pies (as well as a chocolate-stuffed one for dessert), as endearing (if gushy) servers circulate the tranquil, well-appointed dining room, reciting a dizzying array of daily specials—there may be a half-dozen salads alone, not including those made with seafood. Outrageously generous pasta dishes highlight Italian-American sensibilities, with hearty amounts of everything from black, inky linguini with seafood to gnocchi with rabbit ragù.
