Lovely setting. Pleasant lounge and dining room. Friendy staff. Good food.

-Cons

Unacceptable 45 minute wait in a starred establishment for pre-ordered desserts, with no apology and/or acknowledgement from co-owner.

+Pros

As usual an excellent meal - awesome tasting menu. Very good selection of cheeses / wine. Not sure what previous reviewers agenda is- yes it's laid back and occasionally you need to seek out a member of staff at the start & end of the night but there are four gorgeous lounges to relax and wait in; if it's 'in and out' you're after there's a good McDonalds on the A483! Personally we don't think there is better than Tyddyn Llan within 50 miles and that's why we keep going!

-Cons

Perhaps one more waiter might be good but appreciate it's all costs and there are no silver service supplying agencies in Llandrillo to cover sickness / absence
