Tin ceilings, homely wood floors, and a cowhide-covered banquette lend a barn-like aura to the dining room. The Baca family, which includes husband and wife Nick and Carson (thus the name), and brother Rick, run the show with finger-lickin' good food. Tasty Texan brisket tacos, pan-seared pork chops, pork ribs, and soft shell crab Po'boys—this is country cooking with a gourmet slant. Those crispy sweet potato fries will hook you! In the sweet vein, Key lime pie, double chocolate pecan fudge, and old-fashioned root beer floats offer a slice of Americana.

Everyone loved the food. From the scallops to the braised beef short ribs, all was delicious. We will come back soon. My husband brings in his clients often, to enjoy their food and excellent service. Our kids loved their mac and cheese. It's great that they use local farms produce. By far the best restaurant in La Grange with an awesome wine list too.
We love their home made desserts. I would like to see a bigger variety.
