This restaurant is exceptional! We have dined many times over the years and are delighted that Andrew McLeish has recovered his Michelin star. It seems only a matter of time before the second star is awarded. Thoroughly modern in design, everything is spotlessly maintained. Staff are attentive and the changes in restaurant management are a definite improvement. Service is faultless without being intrusive in any way. I forget how many times we have eaten here but we have never , ever, had a poor meal. Portion sizes are just right and presentation is not overly fussy, allowing the food to speak for itself. The wine list is extensive with some very reasonably priced choices on offer. As importantly, prices are not excessive, particularly given the quality of cuisine. I simply cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. You will not be disappointed
