We have been twice. On both occasions the food was very good. There is a genuine atmosphere of wanting to please.
-Cons
Service is friendly but lacks refinement. Scruffy details: salt and peper exposed to flies. Toilets cleaningless disapointing.

We have been twice to this restaurant. About a year ago and two weeks ago. They have refreshed the interior and it felt really clean, modern and comfortable. The service we found to be discreet and the right balance between leaving you in peace and moving the meal on. The food was amazing both times. Local ingredients, extraordinary combinations, thoughtful serving and presentation. Frankly more ineresting than many 1/2 stars we have eaten at. The cheese board was also outstanding.
The setting is off putting, across a narrow busy road. The wine list is a little mixed in quality and could be a bit longer. There were lot's of 'inter course' plates which some like and some don't.....
