Amazing view on Maschsee. Nice welcome. Nice welcome appetizers. Good quality venison meat and bio dynamic salad. I disagree with somebody writing about not spectacular presentation of food. I have experienced some michelin star rated restaurants and it must not be mandatory choreographic presentations but most important quality of food in anyway a good presentation. Chinawares were anyway very nice! I have been amazed by the wine choice and the variety on cheese cart.

By the way of wine: I have found some wines offered "overprized". For the fine-dine atmosphere I would have avoided restaurant logo on wine glasses and I would have appreciated a table cloth also even sitting outside in the balcony. One waitress was not able to suggest combinations of moustards accompanying cheeses and to cover this, she simply gave her personal opinion on her taste on cheese without any preserves which made it not really professional.

Ambiente mit Maschsee top, Location sowieso.
Die vermeintlichen Sommerliers sind inkompetent. Wir hatten einen Barolo für ca 120 €, 1999, nicht trinkbar, weil nicht reif, danach durften wir einen anderen wählen, den gnädigerweise Herr Schuh dies zulies, für 169 € auch kaum besser. Das ist das Hauptproblem an der Insel, das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt nicht ansatzweise und über die Weine wird man ausgenomm. Schade, war nur einmal richtig gut, war ca. 2003 als ein sensationeles Champagner Menü für damals 99 € für 2 Personen. Das wars....
