Cuisine forte en gout, une vraie cuisine du terroir. Bavette parfaitement cuite, magret sur-stylé (dixit mon fils) avec les meilleurs salsifis que j'ai eus. Cadre et serveurs sympas et accueillants.

This place is mostly about the wine; food was limited to a selection of some nibbles, 4 starters and 4 mains, we went at 9pm and they were down to 2 mains. However, everything we had was superb. Steak tartar was my favourite served with crunchy toasted French bread. The wine list, also served by the glass is great. Quite informal but nice.
Limited food menu, but makes up for it in quality. Service was not bad, slightly arrogant French waiter, but that is part of the charm of the place... I just went with his recommendations for the wine. and they were spot on!
