- The chef has cooked here passionately and proudly for over 25 years, creating dishes with classic French roots and a personal touch. Everything! Food, ambience, service, all impeccable.
-Cons
When the bill arrived, there was a plasticized card from the hostess informing that £1 per person was being added to it in support of her favourite charity. It did say that if one chose not to contribute, they could tell them and it would be removed. It's a small amount but breached a principle which, in retrospect, I found to be offensive. If the hostess chooses to support a charity - or, for that matter, do anything with her money - let her do so. But I prefer to decide what to do with mine without the slightest coercion.

A warm welcome on arrival, attentive but discreet service in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The most excellent food, beautifully presented and delicious. Excellent from start to finish in all respects!
