- This carefully restored property dates back to 1650. On the first floor there are two lovely restaurants with a charming rustic feeling serving tasty regional food. Wine bar on the ground floor. There is also a wine shop belonging to the Messmer vineyard.

Am Fuße des Haardmittelgebirgszuges an der Pfälzer Weinstraße haben wir für uns eine neue Topadresse entdeckt. Zur Mittagszeit ließen wir uns für den kleinen Hunger "Blutwurstravioli in Apfelsaft gedämpft an Estragon Senf Sauce", "Jakobsmuscheltatar mit Lardomarinade" und „Kokowääh (Rotweinpoularde mit Sherry Essig Beluga Linsen und karamellisierten Perlzwiebeln)" schmecken. Unerwartete aber wunderschöne Geschmackserlebinis zu einem trocken Pfälzer Riesling Wein. Dazu das gelungene Ambiente der Innenhofterrasse (ein bisschen getrübt durch die nah verlaufende Durchgangsstraße) und ein inspiriertes Personal. Perfekt und absolut einen "bib" wert.
