- Set among an assemblage of bucolic brownstones, Moim serves a fresh take on Korean cuisine. Like its menu, the setting bears a contemporary vibe in a room of concrete grey and dark wood details. Moim translates as "gathering" and encourages sharing with oversized tables to be topped with any number of plates, small or large. The kitchen rises above the pack with an array of items that begin with tapas such as stir-fried eggplant, and organic soft tofu in seasoned soy sauce. Small plates are also featured and include puffy steamed buns filled with a mixture of chopped pork and kimchi. Heartier plates and bowls offer the likes of dak bok-kum, a Korean-style pot-au-feu of rice wine-braised chicken, spicy chili soy, and Korean potato gnocchi.
