Wenn uns der Weg in die Gegend führt, kehren wir nach stets sehr guten Erfahrungen auch gerne immer mal wieder in den Holzapfel ein. Das Ambiente des Restaurants im "alten" Holzapfel ist bayrisch-rustikal, geschmackvoll dekorierte Tische und gepflegter Gesamteindruck. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und fachkompetentes Personal. Speisekarte mit guten Angebot für jeden Geschmack. Die Qualität der Speisen überzeugt wieder einmal durch gehobene Küchenleistung.
Restaurant-Stube und Wintergarten sind von der Einrichtung her etwa in den 80-er Jahren stehen geblieben. Gemütlichkeit und Wohlfühl-ambiente gehen auch etwas moderner ... und bei der Deko passt der bekannte Begriff "weniger ist mehr". Raucher sind auch Menschen! Warum muss man sich beim Rauchen vor Ihren Hoteleingang nach draußen verkrümeln und dann dort vor der Eingangstür am großen Aschenbecher herumstehen? Das geht doch bestimmt auch für die bösen Raucher etwas komfortabler ....
