North End Grill presents straightforward, aromatic American fare. From the moment you enter and until you leave (preferably after grilled pineapple slathered with cashew butter) find yourself cloaked in global scents. With Chef Floyd Cardoz (of Tabla fame) in charge, this serious, stunning newbie is already thriving in its rather odd locale. Glitzy lights mark the door to this state-of-the-art abode. But, before the bar seizes you, take a moment to admire their busy yet collected kitchen. Cuddle into a midnight blue banquette and inspect the menu, rife with an eggscellent section of...you guessed it...eggs. Other picks unveil fresh octopus curls atop a lentil salad; tender cubes of seared Mangalista bacon; and soft shell crab with spicy papaya tangles.
