Hotel-Restaurant Lunia is in Olderberkoop, the oldest village of SW Friesland, a lively village located between three different woods: Koepelbos, Molenbosch and Sterrenbos. Lunia's history goes back to 1861, when the Judge of the canton of Olderberkoop built the house for himselfd and his wife. Since that day, the property has been used as accommodation for dairy employees, as a hostel, a bed & breakfast establishment and finally, for over 6 years now, as a Hotel & Rsetaurant. Of our 20 bedrooms, seven are on the ground floor, opening onto a veranda looking onto the garden, and seven others are on the first floor with a balcony. The six remaining rooms are in the main building. Our cosy restaurant provides à la carte service as well as half-board packages for travellers and residents alike. The veranda provides the ideal setting for a relaxing drink, for reading or for a game with friends and family. Hotel Lunia also has a number of function rooms ideal for receptions, workshops, meetings and conferences.
