Jörg Sackmann, a champion of flavour (Baiersbronn)
Barbara Goerlich-2009-08-17
With seven Michelin stars divided between three chefs, the culinary reputation of the Black Forest town of Baiersbronn extends far beyond the Germany borders. Baiersbronn is the home of Harald Wohlfahrt and Claus-Peter Lumpp, two of Germany’s best chefs who, with three Michelin stars apiece, sit proudly at the pinnacle of the food world’s Mount Olympus. And completing the culinary triumvirate is 49 year old Jörg Sackmann who it seems is on his way to joining them there.
