Both a home and a warehouse (like its neighbor Ca' d'Oro), this 13C home, built in a Neo-Byzantine style, was the birthplace of Alvise da Mosto (1432-1488), who made his historic mark by reaching Cape Verde islands... And you might catch yourself dreaming away, looking out from the complex bay window that dates from the period when the most beautiful hotel in Venice, the Leon Bianco, occupied the site. That was in the 18th C., of course, but that shouldn't prevent us from dreaming...
