Remarks
The merchants founded their "scuola" here in 1570 after they left the quarter of the Frari. The architect Andrea Palladio was one of the people in charge of building this building and the author of the portal that opens out onto the fondamenta. The building used to house works by Tintoretto and Veronese: Napoleon I took these artistic treasures in 1806.
