Barcelona

The economic and political capital of Catalonia (1 681 132 inhabitants), Barcelona is located on the sea between the Rivers Besòs and Llobregat. Elements from the past mingle with those left by unrestrained modernity. Between the Gothic Quarter, the Rambla, the seafront, the Eixample, Montjuïc, Montcada Street and the Palace of Catalan Music, you will find a city of lively contrasts, marked by the genius of Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch.
