Pour Aix, un très bon rapport qualité/prix sur les menus déjeuner. Etablissement bien tenu et cuisine provençale.

Des tarifs à la carte un peu élevés.

Decor was interestng, modern. Closed circuit TV shows the kitchen.

Food was well below standards for Aix and any reasonable standard elsewhere. They have cameras set up in the kitchen and show this on TV's around the restaurant. We watched the kitchen re-heat poached eggs; re-heat a pasta dish; and re-heat pre-cooked breaded fish filets. This explained why the poached eggs were partly under-cooked, but the yolk was still not runny. The sauteed girolles and lardon was literally swimming in grease; the lobster basilic likewise was swimming in oil and the only taste present was basil. To add to this, when we arrived for our reservation precisely at 8:00 pm, a reception was taking place in the entire restaurant, and we were asked to be seated at our table in the middle of it. This ended about 8:30 pm, with no apology - Literally one of the worst meals we have ever eaten in France.
