On your PC, select and combine the maps, at the required zoom level, you need for your journey and then transfer them to your PDA. If, for one reason or another, you leave the scheduled route, the automatic repositioning feature presents you with a new route, MapSonic having previously calculated all the possible routes to the place of arrival. The simple and efficient voice guiding (available in eight languages) works perfectly well. The road sheet displays conventional information such as remaining distance, transit time, or the name of the next road to be taken, allowing you to check visually that you are on the right road. MapSonic is also a highly intuitive street name search engine and a database with a wealth of points of interest (post offices, petrol stations, airports, etc.), to which you can add your own points of interest.
