Grotte de Clamouse
F - 34150 Saint-Jean-de-Fos
Discovered in 1945 when an exceptional summer drought enabled explorers to get past the source of the Clamouse, this cave is renowned for its number and variety of delicate white crystalline formations. It has two types of concretions: classical stalagmites and stalactites, some of them coloured by metal oxide impurities, and others, delicate crystallisations of an amazing whiteness, much rarer in the cave world.
